Ballasted System saves Public Safety Academy of San Bernadino about $7500/year

You may notice the bricks which essentially anchor the system to the roof – held down by weight only, this is called a "ballasted system". The big advantage to this approach is that it doesn’t require holes in the roof. (Roof holes + rain = problems, expense, & general sadness). The modestly sized system will save the school about $7500/year – money that will go directly back into school operations and the students.

This was installed at the Public Safety Academy of San Bernardino – a high school where students follow curriculum which aligns them with careers in police, fire and the like. http://www.psasb.us Public Safety Academy #ballastedsystem #firstnotefinance #PACE #solardesign #prop39
